“Heather” and “Scotty” were inspired by those beautiful antique dolls popular at the turn-of-the-century. Lovingly reproduced, they recapture the past and steal hearts anew.
Heather lives with her grandparents in a pretty stone cottage on the moors. Her grandfather raises sheep and her grandmother knits beautiful things from the wool. (She made Heather’s little hat, which is called a “Tam”)
Heather looks forward all year to the Christmas season. That’s when there are parties and presents and especially wonderful sights and smells. Today, Heather is wearing her best dress-up Tartan plaid outfit and is carrying a basket of holly. Heather and her little dog, Scotty, are on their way to a holiday party.
These Heather and Scotty dolls are one of a kind dolls made from an out of print fabric panel.
Heather is an 18 inch pillow doll and Scotty is her 6 inch dog. Heather has white bow on her hat, white pearl buttons on the front of her dress, a red ribbon bow on her basket, a candy cane charm hanging from her basket and a white pom on the back of her hat. These pillow dolls are so practical because when the little one gets tired and sleepy, the doll can be used as a pillow.
