“Jonathan” and “Buster” were inspired by those beautiful antique dolls popular at the turn-of-the-century. Lovingly reproduced, they recapture the past and steal hearts anew.
This is Jonathan…he lives in a big, old house on the shore with his grandfather who was a sea captain. Jonathan goes to school in town and is especially interested in geography because he hopes to be a sailor too, when he grows up.
Jonathan and his dog Buster often walk along the seashore where they find lots of shells and interesting things washed up by the waves. Today, Jonathan is wearing his favorite sailor suit and is dreaming of sailing the “seven seas” and visiting far-away places.
These Jonathan and Buster soft dolls were made from an out of print fabric panel. Although the fabric panel used to make these dolls is vintage, the fabric looks and smells new.
Jonathan is an 18 inch pillow doll and his bull dog Buster is 8 inches. Jonathan has a silver button accent on his pocket and a red star patch on one of his sleeves.

These pillow dolls are so practical because when the little one gets tired and sleepy, the doll may be used as a pillow and they are not likely to cause any harm when played with or taken to bed. The fabric and stuffing is non-toxic, made in the USA..
I am not a professional seamstress, so if you are expecting perfection please do not purchase. These dolls are made to express my love for babies and children.
